SpectrumU setup
MSU students can access SpectrumU using their MyMoreheadState username and password. With SpectrumU, students can watch live TV channels and many on-demand movies and shows. This service is provided to all Morehead State students.
Web Browser instructions
1. Open a web browser and go to https://watch.spectrumutv.com/
2. Select Sign-In to SpectrumU button
3. Enter moreheadstate.edu as the school domain
4. You will be redirected to log in and MFA with your MSU account if you are not already logged in.
Mobile Apps
SpectrumU has mobile apps in the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, and Amazon app store (be sure to get the SpectrumU app and not the Spectrum app) or you can use a web browser and go to watch.spectrum.net
Roku/Apple TV
To use SpectrumU on Roku, you'll need to add the "SpectrumU" app. Once you open the app, and your TV or Streaming device is on the MSU Network, you'll get a SpectrumU screen to activate the service. Follow the on screen instructions for activation.
Note, not all streaming devices support SpectrumU. Amazon Fire Sticks and Fire TVs, PlayStation, and Xbox are not supported devices and are unable to stream SpectrumU.
SpectrumU Supported Devices
- All major Android™ smartphones and tablets running Android™ 5 or above
- iPhone, iPad or iPod touch running iOS® 11 or above
- Kindle Fire Phone and all Kindle Fire models except for the first-generation model
- Mac: Safari 7 or newer, Firefox 45 or newer or Chrome 43 or newer
- PC: IE 11, Chrome 43 or newer, Firefox 45 or newer or MS Edge 12 or newer
- Roku: All second generation or later video players and TVs
- Apple TV: All fourth and fifth generations devices OS 12.0 or newer
