How to connect Amazon Alexa to MSU_DEVICES Network

1. Your device must be registered through the MSU_DEVICES portal, for instructions on how to register your device Click Here

2. Open the Amazon Alexa app
   • You can download the Alexa app on your smartphone or tablet from the App Store and the Google Play Store 
3. Tap Devices 
   • 
4. Select Echo and Alexa
   • 
5. Select your device 
   • 
6. Select Change
   • 
7. Tap No 
   • 
     • Unless your device is already in setup mode, you will have to press and hold a button on the device. If you have an Echo smart speaker, it will have an orange ring light when in setup mode.
8. Put the Alexa device into setup mode and tap Continue

     • Every Alexa device is different, so make sure to check the app to see which button you should press. If you have an Echo smart speaker, you probably have to press the action button. This is the button with the dot in the middle on top of your Echo device.
9. Select you Alexa device 
   • 
10. Select MSU_DEVICES
